Addisons welcomes corporate star to senior ranks

Addisons has welcomed Dennis Mak to its ranks as special counsel.

Mak will focus on corporate, M&A and private equity law. He brings extensive experience in representing large corporate entities, as well as domestic and international private equity firms.

He has advised on strategic M&A, foreign direct investments into Australia, and corporate governance issues. He has also assisted offshore investors with Foreign Investment Review Board requirements.

Mak works with private equity sponsors and entities at varying stages of maturity, such as international corporations and startups. He brings in-house experience to the table as well.

Before joining Addisons, he worked with Pacific Equity Partners and its portfolio company Intellihub in relation to the divestment of WINconnect to Origin Energy. He also guided Bain Capital on its acquisition of an Australian early-learning centre business.
