50 women across both the in-house and private practice sectors continue to challenge the status quo
The crop of 50 being celebrated by Australasian Lawyer this year as Elite Women are innovators and disruptors who choose to continue challenging the status quo.
Cooper Grace Ward partner Belinda Winter is a staunch supporter of workplace mental health, and played a key role in re-examining the firm’s domestic violence policy. Her fellow partner and Elite Woman Leanne O’Neill is also making her mark in areas like agriculture, mining and resources, and native title and cultural heritage.
Sparke Helmore’s Michelle Taylor has done groundbreaking work in maritime and transport law, helping to shape the industry through formal appointments and thought leadership. Meanwhile, Maddocks partner Gina Wilson spearheaded the Lifting the Bar initiative with the Victorian Women Barristers’ Association.
