Thomson Geer has welcomed renewable energy and banking specialist Jae Lemin to its partnership.

Lemin has significant experience assisting corporates, developers, and private equity funds on a broad range of acquisitions, projects, and financings particularly affecting the renewable energy sector. He has worked on a number of significant transactions within Australia, Asia-Pacific, South America, and Africa.

Moreover, he has spent periods on secondment in National Australia Bank’s global treasury department in Melbourne, as well as in Australia and Standard Chartered Bank’s wholesale banking group in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Thomson Geer, he served as a partner at Eversheds Sutherland’s Hong Kong office for almost seven years. He also held consultant and senior associate positions at Herbert Smith Freehills and Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong, respectively.

According to Lemin, he was delighted to return to Australia after spending his career in Hong Kong for 16 years.
