Thomson Geer has brought in Alyn Tai and Kerry Awerbuch as partners to bolster its corporate and IP practices.

Tai works with the corporate team while Awerbuch commenced with the IP team. Tai is a specialist in M&A and equity capital markets. She has worked with both private and listed entities.

She has advised the boards of ASX-listed companies on corporate governance and company secretarial work. She has guided companies, boards, and executives on general governance matters as well as specific compliance or continuous disclosure issues in day-to-day operations.

Awerbuch is a seasoned IP veteran working on trade mark, copyright, patent, design, confidential information, domain name, and consumer law matters. She has experience tackling brand protection, commercialisation, and litigation across sectors like fashion, health and wellness, fast-moving consumer goods, medical technology, and automotives.
